Job Description

Salesforce/ServiceMax Developer:
Maintain all-round view of solutions (business/technical challenges; functional/non-functional needs of solutions); convert Business requirements into Technical Work; performing end-to-end designs; partner with internal stakeholders/subject matter experts to design/develop end-to-end solution options; research latest technology releases from Salesforce, App’s from AppExchange; independently recommend most effective technologies for clients; consult/participate in requirements, design and coding walkthroughs, to ensure quality development of solutions; determine how existing applications, systems, databases, interfaces, and hardware interact to meet new/emerging enterprise initiatives; promote best practices in Data Modeling, Frameworks, Security, and Documentation; perform Salesforce, Servicemax implementations; develop custom solutions and interfaces on top of Salesforce platform; work with Apex Class Controllers & Triggers with Governor Limits; work with Apex Scheduling/Batch Processes; use SOQL & SOSL queries; create test classes; perform required testing on new development; develop integration processes using Salesforce.com‘s Web Services API; develop integration processes using middleware; work with next middleware applications (Jitterbit, Dell-Boomi, Magic XPI, Workato); work with Platform Events; Lightning Web Components;  configure Salesforce/ServiceMax (manage customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, workflow rules, process builders, flows, reports, dashboards); develop custom solutions/interfaces (Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, CSS); troubleshoot data performance issues; lead production deployment strategy from Sandbox environments using structured change methodology; build custom application for Salesforce AppExchange portal. This is a telecommuting position with remote benefits from anywhere in the U.S.
Job Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Industrial Engineering plus 2 years experience. Experience to include working with Apex Class Controllers & Triggers with Governor Limits, Apex Scheduling/Batch Processes, middleware applications (Jitterbit, Dell-Boomi, Magic XPI, Workato); and configuring Salesforce/ServiceMax (manage customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts, validation rules, workflow rules, process builders, flows, reports, dashboards). This is a telecommuting position with remote benefit from anywhere in the U.S. Travel is required.
